Building - Ext Strapping/Wall Sheathing
Verifies wall sheathing, nailing, and exterior strapping per wind-load requirements. Ref: FBC 110.3, 1609
Building - Framing
Reviews structural framing, load paths, fire blocking, and MEP rough-ins prior to insulation. Ref: FBC 110.3(3)
Building - Fire Rated Wall
Confirms fire-related wall assemblies meet UL/FBC details and penetrations are properly sealed. Ref: FBC 703
Mechanical - Rough In
Checks ductwork, equipment location, and condensate before covering. Ref: FBC-M 603
Electrical - 2nd Rough-In
Checks wiring, panel placement, and boxes before cover-up. Ref: NEC Art. 110.3
Plumbing/Gas - 2nd Rough-In
Reviews piping, venting, and fixtures before wall close. Ref: FBC-P 312
Plumbing/Gas - Tub Set/Shower Pan
Verifies water-tightness and slope before tile. Ref: FBC-P 312.9
Building - Insulation
Verifies insulation type, R-value, and installation before drywall. Ref: FBC Energy C101.5
Electrical - Permanent Power
Releases power once service equipment is complete and safe. Ref: NEC Art. 230
