Columbia County, FL | New 911 Address Application

This form is for new addresses only. You can verify and obtain a letter for an existing 911 address using the online address verification application.

Let's start by locating the address. We will do this in 4 steps.

  • Before starting: Be sure and have an electronic copy of your site plans or intent to build if requesting for a habitable structure.
  • Step 1: Locate the property
  • Step 2: Click the map where the CENTER of the MAIN BUILDING will be located.
  • Step 3: Draw the DRIVEWAY or ENTRANCE ROAD by clicking along each point in the line from the property edge to the home. Double click on the last point to finish.
  • Step 4: Complete the application and submit it. Finally, comfirm your application by clicking on the link emailed to you.

IMPORTANT: Site plans that show the position of the structure on the parcel will be required for habitable structures before an address is issued.
Addresses for non-habitable structures i.e. power poles are not issued unless required by the power company.
