Major Job Function
This position performs skilled manual work in the operation of several types of automotive vehicles and mobile motorized equipment. Employees in this class are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of automotive vehicles and mobile motorized equipment in the daily operations of the public works department and for light maintenance of vehicles and equipment operated.
Training and Experience
Minimum Experience: High School education or G.E.D. preferred and two (2) years experience in vehicle and or equipment operation, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Possession of a valid FL CDL Class B Driver's License required.
