Checks roof sheathing attachment and fastener pattern per FBC wind zones. Ref: FBC 110.3(3)
Reviews structural framing, load paths, fire blocking, and MEP rough-ins prior to insulation. Ref: FBC 110.3(3)
Confirms rated wall assemblies meet fire-resistance standards. Ref: FBC 703
Confirms fire-related wall assemblies meet UL/FBC details and penetrations are properly sealed. Ref: FBC 703
Ensures dampers and duct penetrations are properly installed. Ref: FBC-M 607
Verifies fastening and components for fire-rated walls, ceilings, or roofs. Ref: FBC 703
Checks ductwork, equipment location, and condensate before covering. Ref: FBC-M 603
Checks wiring, panel placement, and boxes before cover-up. Ref: NEC Art. 110.3
Reviews piping, venting, and fixtures before wall close. Ref: FBC-P 312
Verifies water-tightness and slope before tile. Ref: FBC-P 312.9
Full review of fire systems before occupancy. Ref: FBC 907
Verifies insulation type, R-value, and installation before drywall. Ref: FBC Energy C101.5
Verifies fire alarm functionality. Ref: NFPA 72
Flow test for sprinkler/standpipe system. Ref: NFPA 13/14
Flushes underground water main. Ref: NFPA 25
Hydrostatic test of underground fire main. Ref: NFPA 25
Verifies underground piping installation. Ref: NFPA
Conducted when required by the City to verify proper connection and availability of utility services. Ref: City of Lake City
Releases power once service equipment is complete and safe. Ref: NEC Art. 230 Lake City Utilities Tap Inspection must be passed prior to scheduling.
Ensures structure is complete, safe, and code-compliant before Certificate of Occupancy. Ref: FBC 110.5
