Phase IV Roof 'A' and Phase V Roof 'D': Scope of work includes removal of the existing low slope single ply ketone ethylene ester(kee) roofing system and insulation system, down to the existing structural concrete deck. Install a fully adhered temporary membrane/vapor barrier and a rigid isocyanurate insulation with a high density coverboard, for an overall average R-25 insulation value to meet minimum FM I-90 (FBC-I 10 MPH) wind uplift requirements. A ‘hybrid’ fully adhered modified bitumen interplay roofing membrane with high solar reflectance index (SRI) 80 mil PVC fleeced back cap sheet & flashing to provide a roofing manufacturer’s standard 20-year warranty. Also includes installing new prefinished aluminum counterflashing and PVC clad metal scupper throats in the existing scupper locations. Removal of abandoned rooftop equipment and raise existing curbed rooftop equipment and VTRs a minimum height (8 in.) above the finished roof surface. Lastly, includes the installation of two structural metal bridges (the first spanning from roof ‘A’ to roof ‘H-E’ and the second spanning from roof ‘D’ to roof ‘J-N’.
