04/26/26 The tap application was approved for water, sewer, and gas service. The Distributions & Collections Department noted that a pressure reducer is recommended for this location. The Water Treatment Plant noted that an RP backflow preventer is required per State Law F.A.C. 62-555.360. Your plumber will need to contact Growth Management to submit a utility connection permit. Once the plumbing is connected to the water meter and sewer tap, a city utility inspector must inspect the connection before covering the connection points. Please call (386)719-5786 or (386)719-5778 to schedule an inspection and initial turn-on appointment. If the request is received before 1 pm, the appointment can be scheduled for the same day. Any requests received after 1 pm will be scheduled for the next business day.
