History professor Dr. Sean McMahon will discuss both the Declaration itself and the impact that it had - and has continued to have - since its publication.
Dr. McMahon has taught at Florida Gateway College for 25 years. He and his wife are both teachers who care about the community. He is originally from Atlanta, GA. Dr. McMahon is a member of the Lake City Elks #893 and he volunteers with the Lake City - Columbia County Historical Museum.
